Our Physiotherapist
Jennifer Stiles (nee Wagstaffe) BSc (Hons) MCSP Jennifer qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Huddersfield with a 1st class honours degree. Initially she started her career as a rotational physiotherapist at Leighton Hospital where she gained a broad range of experience throughout a wide range of areas including musculoskeletal, respiratory, orthopaedics, neurology etc. From there she transferred to the Princess Royal hospital in Telford where she continued to gain experience in the core areas of physiotherapy. In 2006 she specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy working in health centres and GP practices across Stafford. Whilst there she helped implement the new physiotherapy service which is still in place today. In 2008 she was seconded to Wolverhampton where she helped implement there new musculoskeletal integrated service providing rapid access to NHS physiotherapy and where she continues to work alongside her private work. Jennifer decided to open her practice in Whitchurch due to a strong family
connection to the area, her Grandfather and family having owned retail stores
in Whitchurch for many years with her Grandfathers family also having previously
held the position of Mayor in the town. Our ClinicSuite 5 - The Hollies Our clinic at The Hollies is a well equipped, professional, yet friendly location that enables us to effectively assess and treat our patients. Originally The Hollies was operated as a hotel and our clinic was one of ten chalet units that were used as additional self contained accommodation in addition to the main building which faces onto Chester Road. Since the closure of the hotel all the buildings have been converted into office units that are used by a variety of professional businesses. Recently refurbished, our clinic is equipped with a comfortable consulting room (tea/coffees/hot chocolate provided!) and a professional treatment room with some of the latest equipment available to provide as many treatment options as possible. Also available are a variety of anatomical models, charts, and other sources of information that ensures we are able to explain in clear terms the causes of problems and what we are hoping to achieve through the treatment plans we develop with you. |
